Power Platform Developer

Job Description

This role requires a strong understanding of the entire Microsoft Power Platform suite including:

Power Apps:
Proven experience in developing both canvas apps (for userfacing interfaces) and modeldriven apps (for complex business logic).
Proficiency in building custom connectors for integrating with external data sources.
Ability to leverage advanced features like canvas app components data flows and canvas app authentication.
Power Automate:
Indepth knowledge of building robust workflows (flows) using triggers actions and conditional logic.
Experience with cloud connectors for integrating Power Automate with various Microsoft and thirdparty services.
Understanding of error handling and exception management within flows.
Power BI:
Strong grasp of data modeling techniques including star schema design and data transformations.
Ability to create interactive data visualizations (dashboards and reports) with drilldown capabilities.
Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced calculations and data manipulation.

Additional Technical Skills:
Database Understanding:
Solid foundation in relational database concepts (tables relationships queries).
Familiarity with writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data (Preferred).
Integration Capabilities:
Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services (e.g. Office 365 Dynamics 365 Azure Logic Apps).
Ability to leverage APIs for seamless connections with external data sources (Highly Desirable).
Security Focus:
Understanding of security best practices in the Power Platform (data governance rolebased access control data encryption).
Ability to implement security measures to protect sensitive data within solutions.
Version Control:
Experience using version control systems like Git for managing Power Platform projects (Highly Desirable).

Excellent Communication & Collaboration:
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business users translating complex ideas into clear and actionable steps.
Strong collaboration skills to work with stakeholders developers and other team members to gather requirements design solutions and ensure successful implementation.
ProblemSolving Skills:
Ability to analyze business needs identify solutions using the Power Platform troubleshoot issues and develop workarounds for limitations.
Continuous Learning Mindset:
Eagerness to stay updated on the latest Power Platform features and functionalities attending relevant training and workshops.

Bonus Points:
Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g. Power Apps Power Automate Power BI)
Experience with Azure cloud services (Highly Desirable)
Business Process Knowledge within your industry (Plus preferred)

Candidate with expertise in UI/UX design
Must have: HTML CSS JavaScript Jquery
Good to Have: React Angular js liquid Ui FIGMA design
Optional: Power pages Knowledge
