SAP Transportation Management Lead
Location: Remote
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
1. Implementation and Configuration: Lead or participate in the implementation of SAP TM module including configuration customization and integration with other SAP modules or external systems.
2. Business Process Analysis: Analyze transportation requirements and existing processes within the organization to identify areas for improvement and optimization using SAP TM.
3. Solution Design: Design transportation management solutions based on business requirements considering best practices and SAP TM functionalities.
4. System Testing and Support: Conduct system testing including unit testing integration testing and user acceptance testing. Provide support during the testing phase and postimplementation support to resolve issues and optimize performance.
5. Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for endusers. Create documentation including user manuals process flows and configuration documents.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including supply chain logistics IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of transportation management processes with overall business objectives.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP TM developments and industry trends. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in transportation management processes and SAP TM system.
Experience:
Demonstrated experience in SAP TM implementation and configuration.
Experience with endtoend transportation management processes including transportation planning execution freight cost management and analytics.
Strong understanding of integration between SAP TM and other SAP modules (such as SAP ERP SAP EWM) and thirdparty systems.
Experience with SAP SHANA Transportation Management is a plus.
2. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP TM configuration and customization.
Knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language is desirable.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori user interface and SAP Cloud Platform Integration is advantageous.
3. Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Customeroriented approach with a focus on delivering highquality solutions.
4. Certification: SAP TM certification is preferred but not mandatory.
