Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Data Scientist with a minimum of 5 years of handson experience in forecasting. The ideal candidate should have a strong educational background having completed their graduation or masters degree from NIT IIT IIIT or other Tier 1 universities in India (Deemed Universities will also be considered).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement forecasting models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
- Design build and deploy predictive models data pipelines and analytical solutions focused on forecasting.
- Perform data analysis and data cleaning to ensure the accuracy and integrity of datasets.
- Work with large datasets from various sources including structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize forecasting models for performance scalability and interpretability.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through data visualizations reports and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science machine learning and forecasting techniques.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Data Scientist with significant expertise in forecasting.
- Graduation or masters degree from NIT IIT IIIT or other Tier 1 universities in India (Deemed Universities are also considered).
- Strong proficiency in data science programming languages such as Python and R.
- Extensive experience with data manipulation statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience working with large databases.
- Experience in developing and deploying forecasting models in a production environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloudbased platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark or similar.
- Experience in a specific domain such as finance healthcare retail or manufacturing.
