Job Description
A progressive primary school in Merton is looking for a dynamic Year 2 Teacher to join their KS1 team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment ensuring Year 2 students are engaged and challenged to reach their full potential.

Teaching Responsibilities:
- Plan deliver and assess highquality lessons for Year 2 students.
- Monitor and track Year 2 student progress and provide targeted interventions when necessary.
- Create a safe inclusive and engaging classroom environment for Year 2 learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective planning and teaching strategies for Year 2.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to keep them informed about Year 2 student progress.
Requirements:
- PGCE or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Year 2 students.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
