Job Description
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner HemOnc REMOTE JOB
Location: Remote (Computer and 2 screens provided)
Shift: Mon Fri 8A 4:30P EST or CST No Nights or No Weekends and closed on all Federal Holidays
License: Any State Active NP license accepted
Certifications:

Must have NP certification

DEA required

AOCNP certification not needed but a plus to have
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an NP in hematology/oncology (HemOnc)
Key Responsibilities:

Telehealth Care Delivery: Provide care to approximately six (6) patients per day through phone Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT) or VA Video Connect (VVC) focusing on cancer screening diagnosis treatment and followup.

Oncology Expertise: Utilize advanced nursing knowledge and autonomy in hematology and oncology to perform exams diagnose treat manage health issues order tests prescribe medications and educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.

Consult Management: Follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for handling incoming consults to the assigned team ensuring no more than three (3) deviations from SOP guidelines per quarter.

View Alert Processing: Process individual view alerts in CPRS within seven (7) days of their creation.

Clinical Documentation: Complete all clinical progress notes in CPRS within 48 hours of the patients visit with no more than two (2) unsigned progress notes per week exceeding this timeframe.

Customer Service: Consistently demonstrate ICARE (Integrity Commitment Advocacy Respect Excellence) values with no more than two (2) valid complaints from customers per quarter.
