Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Architect to join our dynamic team in the banking industry. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with deep expertise in domaindriven design (DDD) API development microservices architecture and eventdriven systems. As a Java Architect you will be responsible for designing robust scalable and efficient software solutions that align with our business goals and technological standards. Your role will involve working closely with crossfunctional teams including product management development and operations to ensure that our software architecture supports the evolving needs of our banking services. You will leverage your extensive knowledge in Java and architectural best practices to guide the team in developing highquality secure and performanceoriented applications. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable architectural designs will be critical. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior developers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to best coding practices. Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable Javabased solutions for banking applications.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture ensuring optimal performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Establish best practices for API development and integration across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the implementation of domaindriven design (DDD) principles in all development processes.
- Lead the decomposition of monolithic applications into microservices to enhance agility and maintainability.
- Evaluate and introduce relevant technologies and tools to optimize the development workflow.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; Masters preferred.
- Proven experience as a Java Architect with strong knowledge of Java frameworks and libraries.
- Indepth understanding of domaindriven design (DDD) concepts and best practices.
- Extensive experience with API design development and management.
- Strong background in microservices architecture and eventdriven systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g. AWS Docker Kubernetes).
- Exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
