$1452 per week 13 week assignment
Routine specimen collection through phlebotomy and skin puncture
Providing instructions to patients on collection procedures
Processing physicians orders accurately and thoroughly
Verifying and investigating test requirements
Collecting patient information and entering it into the computer system
Communicating with technical personnel
Printing and distributing lab reports
Performing reception duties and scheduling procedures
Processing anatomic pathology specimens
Maintaining inventory of Front Desk and pathology areas
Requisitioning laboratory supplies
Performing customer service duties like answering questions and assisting with patient information
Displaying adequate knowledge of the laboratory information system for order entry inquiry account registration logs and reports
Adhering to all federal and state regulations in laboratory compliance and safety
Obtaining ICD10 diagnosis codes and having patients fill out Advanced Beneficiary Notices (ABN) when necessary
Must be certified
