Job Description
I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 4 Software Developer 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include preselection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
Develops software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming. This role will be responsible for participating in the completion of deliverables according to the definition of done for this Agile team. This position will require handson experience programming applications in Salesforce. The development team follows Agile (Scrum) and this role should have experience with Agile methodologies. The daily operations of this position will include documentation of the solutions analysis problem resolution design development communication with other team members and participation in solution delivery and other responsibilities required for the unit operations. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing peer reviews documentation defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Available for oncall support as needed.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8RequiredExperience in Salesforce in writing Apex programming Visual force pages Apex triggers Aura Components and lightning web components. Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations (nocode) such as Flows process builders workflow Rules.
8RequiredExperience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process coding standards change control and version management. Experience in assessing Salesforce.com architecture and provide secure highperformance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.
8RequiredExperience in all EndtoEnd technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: classic to lightning upgrades data migrations systems integrations 3rd party applications and custom development
8RequiredExperience in implementing various authentication protocols (oAuth) to integrate 3rd party applications. Experience in core web technologies including HTML5 JavaScript jQuery and web services (REST & SOAP JSON & XML etc.).
8RequiredExperience with integrating Salesforce with cloudbased applications and onpremises applications using standard and custom REST APIs. Visualforce LWC Aura Apex HTML5 and JavaScript within the Salesforce.
4PreferredExperience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Flosum Git.
2PreferredExperience in creating custom Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce.
