JOB TITLE: EHR Project Manager
LOCATION: Austin TX (remote work but must reside in the Austin area)

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The project manager will be working on E HR project. Duties will include the creation of all necessary project documentation such as business case workbooks project charters and schedule biennial operating plans and amendments requirements gathering coordination reporting planning researching coordinating evaluating project management developing data conversion & migration plans and implementation strategy. Work with business owners IT to oversee the solution vendor managing application/data migration efforts assuring the use of best practices and standards assisting in the coordination and optimization of HHSC operations and program functions and providing recommendations. The project manager should act as liaison between business users and vendors to provide required information. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Need to have EHR domain experience and good to have implementation experience. Good to have technical knowledge about databases data migration etc.

Experience in managing multiple projects. Experience in implementing E HR application or similar large application across large organizations. to include developing and managing project plans and documenting risks issues and contingency plans.

Knowledge of database like InterSystems Cach Database Oracle Microsoft SQL Server. Skill in using MS Project EXCEL Word Visio Jira and other project management tools.

Ability to research gather assemble correlate and analyze facts; to devise solutions to problems; and to prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues.

Develop Migration and implementation strategy. Work with business owners IT to oversee vendor.

Experience in EHR application domain application migration workflow analysis design development of SDLC artifacts support using software engineering practices.

Manage existing staff in developing data migration activities. Manage application implementation and mediate between business owners and EHR vendor.

Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings.

Experience in Communicating with all stakeholders vendors staff team and leadership on daytoday activities and also facilitate ownership and understand of project goals and objectives.
