Job Description
- Design and implement scalable secure and highperformance AWS architectures using best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements translate them into technical specifications and develop effective infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform AWS CloudFormation or similar to enable efficient provisioning and management of infrastructure resources.
- Build and enhance selfservice provisioning platforms empowering teams to provision and manage infrastructure resources independently and efficiently.
- Implement DevOps practices including continuous integration continuous deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Architect and build cloud solutions for data platforms including data storage processing and analytics leveraging AWS services such as S3 Redshift Glue Athena and EMR.
- Automate infrastructure deployment configuration and management processes using appropriate tools and frameworks with a strong emphasis on Terraform.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards throughout the infrastructure design and implementation phases.
- Conduct thorough performance analysis capacity planning and cost optimization to ensure optimal resource utilization and costeffective solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers data engineers operations and security teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and data platform solutions.
- Provide technical guidance mentorship and support to junior team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Stay updated with the latest trends advancements and best practices in AWS infrastructure automation IaC selfservice provisioning platforms DevOps and data platform solutions and apply them to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Extensive experience as an AWS Architect with a focus on infrastructure automation IaC building selfservice provisioning platforms DevOps practices and data platform solutions.
- Strong proficiency in designing and implementing complex AWS architectures including VPC EC2 S3 RDS Lambda Redshift Glue Athena EMR and other relevant AWS services.
- Indepth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools with strong expertise in Terraform.
- Proven experience in building selfservice provisioning platforms and empowering teams to provision and manage infrastructure resources independently.
- Handson experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines automated testing and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts security best practices and compliance frameworks in the AWS ecosystem.
- Expertise in designing and building cloud solutions for data platforms including data storage processing and analytics.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex infrastructure and data platform issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty are highly desirable.
