Job Description:
FE 4 Job Description:
- As a Field Engineer 4 you will work in a highly directed environment.
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replaceable unit swapping image loading and unit testing using a detailed script.
- You will also perform other nontroubleshooting duties.
- Direction will be provided by script help desk or service desk in a Next Business Day (NBD) and/or Same Business Day (SBD) service delivery environment.
General Job Information:
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be assigned service requests to repair laptops and desktops
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives motherboards and keyboards
- You may also perform whole unit swaps repair or replace PC peripherals
Required Skills:
- DELL Desktop PC Install/Support Expert
- A Certification (NOT REQUIRED but PREFERRED! )
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
- Ability to use Excel and service applications to track repair information
- Customer communication
- HW analysis skill sets for Dell or other vendors
