Job Summary:
Works with Network teams analysts and other engineers to design systems and application software.
Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis
Understands reads and reviews requirements
Works with Product Owner to understand business requirements
Software Architecture
Participates in architectural review process
Software Design
Leads Features and multiple modules design
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on integration details
Evaluates and recommends adoption of opensource
Development/Coding
Develop features with Java/Spring/ReactJs/Elastic for multiple modules
Crosstechnical integration with network routers SNMP/GRPC
Participates in peer reviews
Adoption of standard coding processes
Testing
Develops unit integration and contract tests
Fixes defects
DevOps
Defines deployment and release pipelines
Defines and executes environment planning and crossfunctional dependencies
Software Reliability & Support Engineering
Captures consolidates and maintains inventory of production applications flows and systems for all the software engineering verticals
Helps in preparing application support documentation
Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledgebase documents
Technical Project Management
Provides level of effort (LOE)
Works with technical project managers and product management teams to define schedule
Provides status reports and release management progress updates
R&D/Innovation
Investigates analyzes and evaluates new technologies
Qualifications
4 years of strong handson development experience with Java (8.0/11.0) J2EE Spring framework Spring boot ReactJs Phyton and Elastic
A deep understanding of Micro Frontends and Micro Services
Must have strong handson development experience with frameworks and tools including Spring Spring Boot Spring Cloud JPA IntelliJ Junit & Visual Studio etc.
Must have SQL knowledge
Must have extensive handson experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and WS* stack on micro services architecture(DevOps model).
Must have strong understanding of design patterns and best practices in Java/J2EE platform including UI and application development.
Must have strong understanding of Network(CCNA).
Must have strong Experience/Knowledge on Data modelling (RDBMS & XSD) Database/XML interaction Stored Procedure such as PLSQL
Must possess excellent Verbal and Written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate & work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate & meet deliverables.
Must be able to collaborate & work in a fastpaced team environment with minimal supervision and have the ability to escalate issues in a timely manner.
Must have a strong passion for technology attitude for learning and a commitment for excellence.
