Job Description
As a Security Engineer you will apply security skills to design build and protect enterprise systems applications data assets and people. You will provide services to safeguard information infrastructures applications and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls to ensure the security of the organizations systems and data. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement effective security measures and contribute to key decisions regarding security strategies and solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Experience in system design for complex infrastructures. Good understanding and working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ISE. Ability to create user and device profiling in cisco ISE and deploy SGT for dynamic security differentiated access macro and microsegmentation in SD Fabric. Experience in onboard users devices with multiple personas with 802.1X Active Directory and static authentication. Experience on configuring DNAC ISE AD/LDAP to create VNs and enforce security policies across SDA Fabric.
Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Implement and maintain Palo Alto Networks Firewalls to ensure the security of the organizations systems and data.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement effective security measures.
Contribute to key decisions regarding security strategies and solutions.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Assist in incident response and investigation activities to identify and resolve security incidents.
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
Develop and maintain security policies procedures and standards.
Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals.
