Job Description
We have an urgent requirement for Oracle ETL Architect position with our client.
Role: Oracle ETL Architect
Location: Albany New York
Duration: 30 Months
Description
This position will design and implement software solutions and assure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfill the business needs.
Duties
- Manages ETL solutions for data warehouse projects.
- Perform ETL application analysis design development and implementation including: data analysis data access data structures data manipulation data reporting solutions database and technical and user documentation.
- Act as the primary ETL technical liaison working with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance.
- Work with the Infrastructure team to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution endurance testing and deployment planning and testing.
- Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis data access data structures data manipulation preparing logical database models testing and implementation.
- Prepare and/or review technical documentation such as designs schemas etc. as appropriate.
- Provide technical guidance to team of developers.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience (12 Years)
- Makes highlevel design choices and dictates technical standards including software coding standards tools and platforms. Designs multileveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
Requirements
- This is an 100% Onsite
- 84 months experience developing ETL/ELT objects including Interfaces Packages Scenarios and Procedures and load strategies for relational Type 1 2 and 3 slowly changing dimensions using Oracle Data Integrator.
- 84 months experience writing technical specifications including ETL source to target mapping documents use cases software architecture documents ETL design documents and implementation documents.
- 84 months experience in writing and tuning SQL scripts including: tables views indexes and complex PL/SQL objects including: procedures functions triggers and packages in Oracle database 12G or higher.
- 84 months experience working with Oracle Data Integrator 11g or later.
- 60 months experience as a technical team lead responsible for data warehouse and ETL platform architecture.
- 36 months experience developing implementing and integrating systems related to Criminal Justice processing at the state or federal level using Criminal Justice terminology and nomenclatures.
