Job Description
- Position: TechnicianLocation: KolkataIndustry: Diagnostic CentreGender Preference: Male
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain the Roche Gobas Pro Machine for diagnostic purposes ensuring accurate and timely results.
Perform routine calibration and quality control of the machine to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot technical issues with the machine and coordinate with the service team for necessary repairs or maintenance.
Manage and process diagnostic samples efficiently adhering to lab protocols and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of test results calibrations and equipment maintenance logs.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.
Assist in inventory management for consumables and reagents required for the machine.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or a related field.
Handson experience with Roche Gobas Pro Machine is mandatory.
Knowledge of diagnostic lab procedures and safety protocols.
Basic understanding of laboratory information systems (LIS) is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Technical proficiency in operating and troubleshooting the Roche Gobas Pro Machine.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling diagnostic samples.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a laboratory technician specifically in diagnostics.
Work Environment
Work from the diagnostic center in Kolkata.
