Job Description
Job Description: Technician Diagnostic Centre (Kolkata)
Position: Technician (Roche Cobas Pro Machine Report Releasing)
Location: Kolkata
Industry: Healthcare/Diagnostics
Employment Type: Fulltime
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage the Roche Cobas Pro Machine for diagnostic reporting.
- Conduct daily maintenance and calibration of the equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Release accurate and timely diagnostic reports based on machine output.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols for diagnostic testing.
- Ensure proper handling storage and processing of patient samples.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test results and machine performance logs.
- Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Address minor technical issues with the machine and escalate unresolved issues to the technical support team.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic equipment and technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in operating Roche diagnostic machines specifically the Cobas Pro is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and understanding lab processes.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with the team.
