Job Description

Our client is a boutique public practice accounting firm based in Adelaide South Australia. With a team of dedicated professionals passionate about driving business success for their clients they are a goto accounting firm for small businesses seeking bespoke accounting solutions.
- Preparation and review of income tax and FBT returns
- Preparation and review of BAS and IAS
- Support and mentoring of bookkeeping function and team including:
- Xero setup and training (inc. COA)
Requirements
About You
Youll be highly motivated energetic and professional in your approach to work and you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years experience with Australian business services and/or public practice accounting
- A minimum of 2 years management experience (highly regarded)
- Broad knowledge and experience in Australian (AU) taxation (essential)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management planning people and organisation skills
- Professional written and verbal communication (in English)
- Previous workflow management experience
- Experienced and proficient in Xero and XPM (essential)

You will bring your positive can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism and customer service focus and you will have: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration/Management (or a related field) Current professional Accounting registration (CPA/CA, etc.) A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Australian tax and accounting Outstanding time management skills Excellent professional communication skills (both written and verbal) Demonstrated attention to detail A strong commitment to customer service, confidentiality and continuous improvement

Tertiary qualification(s) in Accounting (or related field) CA/CPA
