Job Description
Job Title: Data Modeler
Location: Remote/Onsite (EST Time Zone)
Key Skills: Kimball Inmon Linstedt Lambda Data Lake Data Lakehouse
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeler with extensive experience in modeling healthcare and EMR data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both bulk and realtime data exchanges and a deep understanding of various data modeling methodologies and architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive data models for healthcare and EMR data.
- Model both bulk and realtime data exchanges to meet various business requirements.
- Work within complex data environments ensuring the integrity and consistency of data.
- Apply methodologies such as Kimball Inmon and Linstedt for effective data modeling.
- Implement and support architectures like Lambda Data Lake Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse.
- Demonstrate proven experience in data modeling particularly within healthcare and EMR data domains.
- Integrate and transform Athenahealth data as needed.
- Create detailed SourcetoTarget Mappings (STMs) that capture logical business rules and data transformations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Experience:
- Strong understanding of bulk and realtime data exchanges.
- Handson experience with Kimball Inmon and Linstedt methodologies.
- Expertise in Lambda Data Lake Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures.
- Experience in integrating and transforming Athenahealth data.
- Proficiency in creating SourcetoTarget Mappings (STMs).
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
