We are looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer to join the Enterprise Integration team. You will work with architects engineers system owners product managers and business leaders at multiple levels to design and build highly scalable flexible and resilient integrations that address business problems and accelerate building the road to space!
As a member of the team you will also shape the Integration platform at Blue Origin to empower partner teams to build secure scalable worldclass integration solutions.
You will apply your software engineering expertise and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

prefers seattle area/ ex amazon would be nice

Senior Software Integration Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects customers data owners and engineers to develop and evolve a platform to improve the speed of delivery of integrations.
- Design/Develop/Engineer scalable observable to deliver and sustainable integration pipelines with the goal of delivering value through data and system integrations.
- Dive deep into the data for source and target systems to understand how the integration will deliver business value map the data and develop the integration.
- Apply the latest research and industry trends to build best in class enterprise integrations.
- Build solution prototypes and conduct experiments to evaluate alternatives.
- Mentor and coach fellow and junior engineers
Senior Software Integration Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5 years experience in design and development of cloud native solutions microservices and backend systems
- 5 years experience designing building deploying operating and scaling distributed systems
- 3 years of hand on experience in Enterprise Integration platform services such as MuleSoft Boomi etc.
- 3 years experience in designing/building eventdriven and realtime integrations
- Experience with API Management (APIM) is a strong plus
- Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java Go or Rust
- Advanced level SQL and scripting (Python/Bash etc.) skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Senior Software Integration Engineer Desired:
- Masters degree or higher in Computer Science Mathematics Statistics or similar analytical field.
- Manufacturing and/or Aerospace experience
