Job Description
Job Title: Network Security Architect
Location: USA Remote
Duration: / Term: 6 months Contract
Job Description:
- Provide architectural oversight for complex deployment including capacity planning appliance placement segmentation and functional separation
- Conceptualize and develop a platform architecture to meet the business needs
- Work closely with the Security team and internal design meetings and calls.
- Create and present solution architectures to internal groups
- Assist in troubleshooting deployment problems when deep expertise is required
- Effectively deliver presentations to internal customers and senior management.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and training material
- Design and implement network security solutions using ForeScout technology
- Troubleshoot network security issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure network security compliance
- Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in network security
Qualifications:
- Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE) Certification
- 8 years of experience in technical roles such as professional services 2nd level customer support or technical sales engineering.
- 5 years of experience in designing and deploying technical solutions in a largescale complex environment
- 5 years of experience in network security architecture
- Handson experience with ForeScout products
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices
- Experience with a NAC (Aruba Clearpass and Cisco ISE) environment is strongly desired.
- Experience installing managing and supporting production network and computer security systems comprised of multiple network hardware and software.
- Strong understanding of Routing Switching 802.1X 802.1Q VLAN VPN LAN WAN RADIUS and Network Security.
- High level knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems.
- Knowledge of security standards procedures and technologies
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communications comfortable communicating with audiences of varying levels of management; ability establish rapport and gain respect and collaboration.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking root cause analysis and creative problemsolving ability.
- A selfmotivated individual with a can do attitude seeing the big picture creative and collaborative.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Network administrator experience and network security experience is a plus.
- Security and Network certification such as CISSP SSCP GIAC or CCIE is a plus.
- Healthcare provider industry experience is preferred
- BA or BS degree or 3 years of experience with IT in a professional work environment in lieu of a Bachelors degree
- Network security with ForeScout experience
