Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highquality Java and Python applications for trading and risk management.
- Design and implement cloudbased solutions using AWS services to ensure scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize existing applications for efficiency and performance improvements particularly in highfrequency trading scenarios.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support throughout the development life cycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the teams development capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in software development using Java and Python in a financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services including Lambda EC2 and S3.
- Experience with C programming and understanding of its application in financerelated projects.
- Indepth understanding of capital markets trading systems and financial instruments.
- Proficient in software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
