Job Summary:
As an Application Developer you will design build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth functioning of applications addressing any issues that arise and implementing best practices for application development. You will collaborate with multiple teams making team decisions and contributing to key decisions. Additionally you will be expected to provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams showcasing your problemsolving skills and expertise in application development.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in AS/400 COBOL 400 programming language.
- Collaborate with and manage the team to ensure efficient performance.
- Responsible for team decisions guiding team efforts.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions related to application development.
- Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of applications by identifying and addressing issues.
- Implement best practices for application development testing and debugging.
- Ensure that the application meets business process and application requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any application issues or bugs that arise.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design through implementation.
MustHave Skills:
- Proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 (Programming Language).
- Strong understanding of application development principles and practices.
- Handson experience in designing building and configuring applications.
- Experience in understanding and addressing business process and application requirements.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Experience with application testing and debugging.
- Ability to troubleshoot debug and resolve application issues.
GoodtoHave Skills:
- Experience with other programming languages and platforms.
- Familiarity with modern application development frameworks or tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative mindset working well with crossfunctional teams.
Educational Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 15 years of fulltime education in a relevant field.
