Job Description :
As the Test Automation Engineer youll responsible for building automation frameworks for tests and other testrelated development processes such as Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines and write code to improve the overall testability of software. Youll identify opportunities to increase the level of automated testing of our customer products and solutions plan and execute strategies to achieve test automation objectives continuously measure and improve the effectiveness of that testing based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluate and integrate new testing tools technologies and procedures to achieve the organizations technical objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning meetings sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives.
Design develop and maintain test suites to validate software functionality.
Participate in code reviews and inspections to ensure testability of code and adherence to coding standards that facilitate automated testing.
Build and enhance automated testing frameworks and tools that facilitate automated testing across different layers of the application.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery.
Monitor and analyze test results and ensure the stability of builds before deployment.
Maintain high quality software by ensuring comprehensive test coverage and enforcing testing best practices.
Create and maintain documentation related to automated test cases test plans and test results to support knowledge sharing and transparency.
Report issues in work management tool (e.g. Jira) along with steps required to recreate the issue.
Participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements test design and test tools selection. Work closely with software engineers to create and maintain test artifacts that may be reviewed by external stakeholders real time.Skills Required :
Strong expertise in designing developing and maintaining automation test suites using frameworks like Selenium WebDriver Playwright and Test NG.
Familiarity with SQL NoSQL and PostgreSQL for querying databases and verifying data integrity during testing.
Ability to perform both Frontend (UI/UX) and Backend (API database and serverside) testing.
Strong selfmotivated desire to learn new tools frameworks and techniques.
Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision.
Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplined engineering team.
Experience with Agile development principles and methodologies.
Working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery methodologies and tools.
Experience with automating unit functional integration and performance testing of web applications using industrystandard tools such as
