Job Description
Job Title: Power BI Data Engineer
Experience: 6 8 years
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical skills in Power BI SQL and ETL processes. The role involves designing and developing interactive dashboards managing data pipelines and working with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver highquality data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and ETL processes.
- Manage data integration data pipelines and data warehousing using ETL tools (preferably SnapLogic).
- Collaborate with business leadership to understand requirements define KPIs and develop data solutions to meet business needs.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data in dashboards and reports.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI reports and data integration processes.
- Maintain documentation for data processes SQL scripts and ETL workflows.
Qualifications:
- 6 8 years of experience in Power BI data engineering and ETL.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for report and dashboard development.
- Strong expertise in SQL including complex queries stored procedures and database optimization.
- Experience with ETL tools preferably SnapLogic for data integration and pipeline management.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with cloud platforms (Azure AWS or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DAX and Power Query for Power BI.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
