Role : Systems Analyst III OnCall Azure and Network Support
Job Type: PartTime: (Up to 200 hours of oncall Systems Analyst III network engineering support per year. One base year up to 3 options years)
Location: Remote with occasional onsite work at MSPB Headquarters Washington DC.
Key Responsibilities:
- OnCall Support:
- Provide oncall support within two hours for network outages including after business hours.
- Deliver timely and professional updates to the CIO and IRM staff during emergencies.
- System Administration and Maintenance:
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 cloud applications and services.
- Manage and optimize the Microsoft Azure environment including CDN Certificates Entra ID Autopilot Intune and associated applications.
- Oversee server performance and conduct security audits recommending and implementing improvements.
- Network Support:
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory and Entra ID Connect.
- Manage network security architecture including TCP/IP VLANs VPNs and related components.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive change management logs and documentation.
- Provide monthly status reports detailing activities and system updates.
- Participate in postaward and periodic progress meetings to review performance.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure adherence to MSPBs privacy and security policies including the Privacy Act and FAR clauses.
- Complete and maintain training certifications in privacy and security safeguards.
- Collaboration and Professionalism:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Represent the contractors role clearly in interactions with government officials.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of five years of IT experience with at least three years in specialized roles.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure configuration Active Directory administration and network architecture.
- Handson experience with tools like Azure Monitor System Center Operations Manager and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Education:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Eight years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Certifications:
- Preferred: Microsoft Certified Associate Azure Administrator or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in network monitoring system documentation and server security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Other Requirements:
- Must possess or obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Criminal history and background checks required.
- Familiarity with MSPB and federal regulations is a plus.
Work Conditions:
- Hours: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM ET with oncall availability outside regular hours for emergencies.
Deliverables:
- Weekly status reports.
- Change management logs.
- Monthly system updates and recommendations
