PeopleSoft Application Developer
Duration of Engagement: 3 years (through 12/30/2027)
Location of Engagement: 110 State Street Albany New York 12236
Description of Engagement:
The New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS) has embarked on a multiyear Redesign Project to modernize its retirement benefit administration program. The implemented platform is an Oracle PeopleSoft solution. NYSLRS requires individual(s) with Application Development skills to work with NYSLRS implementation vendors and the inhouse Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Six or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three of the following toolsets: XML PeopleSoft SQR PeopleTools PeopleCode PSQuery Data Mover Application Engine and Component Interface.
- Six or more years of experience in using SQL over PeopleSoft Data Structures.
- Four or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.5 and higher.
- Four or more years of experience conceptualizing and transforming business requirements into design documents with associated test plans and documentation.
- Three or more years of experience developing collaborative solutions and troubleshooting issues between functional and technical teams.
- Three or more years of experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed applications to other application developers.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Six years experience implementing or supporting an Oracle PeopleSoft implementation.
Work Arrangement:
Onsite work at the location stated above is required for a onemonth probationary period. After the probationary period 50% remote work.
Weekly Work Schedule:
40 hours per week during the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Occasional extended hours may be necessary by mutual agreement e.g. Working weekends past normal business hours.
