**Type:** PartTime/Hourly (Tiers based on task complexity)
**Pay Range:** $17/hr $35/hr

Tangier Media Studio is a versatile photography and media studio offering booking services for photographers creators and event hosts. We also operate a retail photography business specializing in art photo poster printing. Our creative agency Tangier Creative Agency develops cuttingedge marketing and branding campaigns. Together under the parent company Tangier Music Co. we drive a national mission to build an artistfirst online ecosystem supporting creators in a modern innovative manner.
#### **Role Overview**
We are seeking a **Marketing and Event Marketing Coordinator** to support our local and national growth. This individual will:
Coordinate marketing strategies for our storefront business and creative agency.
Plan and execute events to drive community engagement and customer acquisition.
Manage smalltomedium scale projects with an emphasis on resultsdriven strategies.
This role is structured to reward efficiency and skill with a tiered hourly pay rate based on task complexity:
**$17/hr:** Administrative and routine marketing tasks.
**$20/hr:** Intermediate content creation and client communications.
**$25/hr:** Event planning and execution marketing campaigns.
**$35/hr:** Highlevel strategic planning and project management.
#### **Responsibilities**
1. **Marketing Coordination:**
Develop and schedule social media and digital marketing content.
Collaborate on retail promotions and campaigns.
Track and analyze marketing metrics to improve ROI.
2. **Event Marketing:**
Organize and promote local events at Tangier Media Studio (workshops showcases).
Coordinate logistics for events including scheduling materials and vendor relations.
Manage event budgets and evaluate event success through feedback and KPIs.
3. **Project Management:**
Oversee marketing and creative projects ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute campaigns.
Identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. **National Initiatives:**
Support marketing campaigns aimed at building Tangier Music Co.s artistfirst ecosystem.
Help identify partnerships and audiences for national outreach.
Requirements
#### **Qualifications**
**Experience:**
2 years in marketing event planning or related fields.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Trello Asana or similar).
Experience working in retail creative industries or photography is a plus.
**Skills:**
Strong written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g. Canva Adobe).
Detailoriented with a resultsdriven mindset.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
