Job Description: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Position Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing all activities related to shipping and receiving inventory in a warehouse environment. This includes preparing products for shipment verifying and recording inventory transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package products for shipment or receipt.
- Verify shipments against documentation.
- Record inventory in Warehouse Management Systems.
- Generate activity reports.
- Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Address internal and external inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math and computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- Attention to detail and physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred.
Pay Rate: $17/hour.
