Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrative Assistant you ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cuttingedge health assistance and essential administrative tasks. You ll work closely with a team of specialized health assistants verifying insurance coverage booking appointments and coordinating care plans. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in patients lives while gaining valuable experience in the healthcare technology sector. Ideal candidates are detailoriented problemsolvers who thrive in fastpaced evolving environments and are passionate about improving healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance coverage by liaising with insurance companies
  • Schedule appointments with healthcare providers optimizing for patient needs and provider availability
  • Support care plan coordination developed by health assistants
  • Manage internal communication channels for efficient task delegation and updates
  • Interface with healthcare providers insurance companies and other partners
  • Handle various administrative tasks in a fastpaced startup environment
  • Attend internal meetings and provide administrative support to the core team
  • Adapt to new systems and processes as the company grows and evolves


Requirements


  • Experience in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in CRM systems particularly Intercom
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Adaptability and quick learning capabilities for new systems and processes
  • Experience in startups or agile work environments is a plus
  • Passion for healthcare and improving patient experiences
  • Comfortable with remote work and flexible hours
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
