Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Laravel Developer with 35 years of handson experience in building robust and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of Laravel strong backend development skills and experience with modern web technologies. This role requires a problemsolving mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend developers designers and product managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Develop maintain and optimize serverside applications using Laravel framework. Write clean reusable and welldocumented code according to industry standards.
- Database Management: Design and manage databases creating efficient queries and optimizing database performance. Work with MySQL or other relational databases and utilize Eloquent ORM for seamless data handling.
- API Development and Integration: Build RESTful APIs and work with thirdparty integrations (such as payment gateways authentication providers and other services). Ensure secure and efficient data handling within the application.
- Performance Optimization and Security: Optimize applications for speed scalability and security. Implement data protection user authentication and access control within the application.
- Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit tests to maintain code quality. Troubleshoot debug and upgrade software as needed.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with frontend developers product managers and other team members to create an efficient and seamless user experience. Maintain clear documentation for development processes APIs and code standards.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 35 years of experience as a backend or fullstack developer with at least 2 years of Laravel experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Laravel PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and Vue.js (or similar framework) is a plus.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs MVC architecture and ObjectOriented Programming.
- Knowledge of Composer and dependency management.
- Testing and Debugging: Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills a collaborative mindset and problemsolving abilities.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g. Symfony) and experience with cloud services (AWS DigitalOcean) is a plus.
