About the Job:
The Data Analyst will lead Data Analytics for the company. They will unify data from across company data sources and develop models and reports to support the needs of business users. The Data Analyst will use the knowledge acquired in operations to offer analysis in BI reporting. The best Data Analyst will attempt to identify and support "citizen data analysts" who can continuously improve BI within various departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Clean transform and document reusable data models using modular SQL files to ensure accurate and consistent BI.
• Work with multiple departments and management to establish data needs and reporting requirements.
• Communicate with management and multiple departments to identify data solutions and opportunities to leverage data to grow the business.
• Develop and generate reports across multiple systems for multiple departments that identify trends that can be applied to business growth.
• Analyze reports using statistical analysis where applicable and advise stakeholders of findings.
• Identify and correct problems in data sets and BI reports created by upstream changes.
• Manage thirdparty cloud data resources such as Snowflake to maintain operability and minimize costs. • Maintain and improve Python data pipelines for data sources incompatible with third party products.
• Handle confidential information following company policy while building security needs as necessary to ensure data integrity.
• Keeping current with industry standards and implementing updates as needed or required.
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Information Technology Economics or a similar field.
• Must be highly proficient in SQL specifically writing SQL code in DBT.
• Candidates should be proficient at coding DAX for Power BI.
• Must demonstrate solid proficiency in Python for maintaining data models.
• Must demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Must be deadline and detail oriented.
• Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
• Must be an excellent creative thinker with the ability to be proactive and selfmotivating.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively (both written and oral).
• Background and experience in the construction or manufacturing industry are a plus.
