JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Commissioner General this is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing developing and directing successful implementation of the Revenue Services Financial Management Talent Management ICT and Modernisation Legal Services Support Procurement Security Infrastructure and Facilities Management portfolios to ensure provision of optimal support in line with the strategic mandate and priorities of BURS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures the strategic alignment of HR practices with organisational goals focusing on talent acquisition development and retention to build a skilled and motivated workforce capable of achieving BURS s objectives while complying with sound labour practices and legislation
Leads the development and implementation of ICT strategies to support operational efficiency data security and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation
Provides leadership in legal affairs ensuring BURS s operations comply with statutory requirements and protects the organisation against legal risks
Develops strategies to ensure sound financial management practices budgeting and resource allocation to support BURS s strategic and operational goals efficiently
Oversees the management of facilities infrastructure facilities and general administrative services to ensure a safe secure and efficient working environment for all employees clients and visitors
Requirements
A Master s Degree in either Business Administration Human Resources Information and Communication Technology Law Finance or any related field. Training in Leadership will be highly advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years experience leading a Corporate Services function or related with at least 5 years in a senior (Executive) leadership position within the public sector financial services or any related industry.
