Dart Transit Company has an immediate opportunity for a Tractor Technician at our Ellenwood GA location.

Shift Monday Friday 8:30am 5pm and every 3rd Saturday 7am 1pm
Sign On Bonus: $5000 50% paid out after 90 days; 50% paid out after 180 days
Added Incentives:

- $100 Prescription Safety Glasses Reimbursement Annually
- $125 Tool Reimbursement Quarterly
- Paid Overtime
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform diagnosis repair and maintenance of fleet including electrical and brakes
- Preventative maintenance including oil change brakes lights filters tire pressure and tread depth etc.
- Knowledge of repairs with Detroit Diesel Cummins and Mercedes Engines.
- Document work order details within the Companys internal order and billing program
- Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
- Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic needed
- Contribute to the goals of the shop leadership team and company
- Be a positive role model for all team members
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- 25 years of mechanic experience on heavyduty trucks
- Must have a Valid Drivers License
- Must pass a preemployment drug screen physical and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to use hands to handle materials reach with hands and arms and talk and hear.
- Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to sit stand walk stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
