This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 KS4 and KS5 students differentiating effectively to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement innovative lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative methods providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the English department and across the school to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of current educational research and pedagogical approaches in English teaching.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and departmental initiatives.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Bachelors degree in English or a related field.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English curriculum across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Exhibit excellent communication classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
