Computer Science Teacher Wandsworth Secondary School
A leading secondary school in Wandsworth is seeking a dynamic and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join their highachieving department on a fulltime permanent basis. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 fostering a love of technology and computational thinking.
- Design and implement a differentiated curriculum that caters to a range of learning styles and abilities ensuring all students reach their full potential.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and assessment strategies to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Computer Science department and across the school to share best practices and contribute to a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology and pedagogical approaches in Computer Science education.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrate proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level (Key Stages 35).
- Exhibit a strong passion for technology and a commitment to inspiring students in this field.
- Possess excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
