Job Description

A forwardthinking primary school in Southwark is looking for a passionate and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire students and create engaging lessons that challenge Year 5 students to reach their full potential.

  • Permanent position
  • Fulltime position
  • Starting in January 2025
  • London MPS1 UPS3 Salary

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver dynamic lessons for Year 5 students.
  • Assess Year 5 student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Maintain a safe engaging and inclusive classroom environment for Year 5 learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and create exciting learning opportunities.
  • Keep parents informed about Year 5 student progress and achievements.

Requirements:

  • PGCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 5 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
