Job Description:
Looking to expand our service department with a copier service technician. No experience is necessary but preferred. Willing to train the right person. Looking for someone who is reliable and selfmotivated mechanically inclined and looking for a longterm career.
Responsibilities
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on black & white and color digital copiers faxes printers and scanners. Troubleshoot network printing and network scanning capabilities of digital multifunctional equipment.
Provide outstanding service to our internal and external clients. Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose each service call
Ensure that all mechanical repairs are carried out in accordance with the manufacturers specifications
Responsible for maintaining an accurate car inventory
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on copiers and network
Set up new installs to the network including printing and scanning
Effectively and efficiently respond to service calls on a daily basis
Maintain a high level of Customer satisfaction by clarifying Customer needs and ensuring that they are met.
Handle Customerrelation problems promptly and appropriately and escalate issues according to established procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school preferred.
May be required to take and pass a Core Basic Copier Technology Exam.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.
Must work well with customers and exhibit professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
This position requires a working knowledge of electronics and mechanical systems.
