This would be a 12 Months contract position to begin with a potential to get extended.

Description:
- This position provides repair dispositions and fabrication requirements for discrepant aircraft conditions discovered while performing aircraft maintenance modification repair and overhaul.
- These discrepancies are normally outside the scope of contracted work and are considered Over & Above (O&A). O&A planners use engineering source documents to provide technical direction and references for technicians to execute necessary repairs.
- The O&A planner will also provide estimated labor budgets and required materials to perform repairs.
- Negotiations may be required when repair requirements are challenged by customers. O&A planners are expected to conduct spot checks of work documents with Operations personnel for improvement opportunities.
- The O&A planner will be expected to execute liaison planner tasks to resolve planning document issues provide reports and process planning changes to support hangar floor and flight line operations.
- This position requires candidates with experience in the F16 aviation/aircraft maintenance field.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
- Ability to plan sequence of work experience using MS Word and Excel and able to understand contractual requirements to differentiate between basic and Over & Above work
- Solumina experience preferred.
