Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 6 years of experience and deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing configuring and supporting the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules of SAP with specific experience in S/4HANA. The consultant will play a key role in helping organizations optimize their financial processes ensuring smooth integration and seamless functionality of SAP S/4HANA in finance and controlling areas.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP FICO Implementation & Configuration:
Lead and support the configuration of SAP FICO modules (FI CO) in SAP S/4HANA aligning with business processes.
Conduct system design configuration and testing for SAP S/4HANA FI/CO implementations.
Drive endtoend implementation of SAP S/4HANA in Finance and Controlling from business requirements gathering to GoLive support.
Business Process Mapping and Solution Design:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to map financial and controlling processes ensuring alignment with SAP FICO functionality.
Design and implement solutions for Financial Accounting (FI) Cost Center Accounting (COCCA) Internal Orders (COIO) Profitability Analysis (COPA) and other related areas in SAP S/4HANA.
Integration with Other SAP Modules:
Work closely with other SAP teams (e.g. SAP MM SD PP and WM) to ensure proper integration between the FI/CO modules and other SAP functionalities.
Ensure seamless data flow between SAP S/4HANA and external systems (e.g. legacy systems thirdparty financial systems).
Financial Reporting & Analytics:
Develop and optimize financial reports using the embedded SAP S/4HANA analytics tools and FIORI.
Assist in financial data migration and the preparation of financial statements ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
Implement advanced reporting capabilities leveraging S/4HANAs realtime analytics.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide postimplementation support to ensure the stability of SAP FICO solutions and troubleshoot issues in the FI/CO modules.
Assist with system upgrades patching and periodic maintenance to ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
Handle user queries and system issues related to FI/CO processes offering timely resolutions.
Data Migration & Conversion:
Oversee and support data migration efforts ensuring accurate and timely migration of financial data to SAP S/4HANA.
Support the execution of data validation and reconciliation between legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA.
Training & Documentation:
Provide enduser training on SAP FICO modules focusing on business process workflows and reporting.
Prepare user manuals process documentation and training materials to enable selfsufficiency within business teams.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization:
Identify areas for improvement in financial and controlling processes and work to streamline and optimize them using SAP S/4HANA.
Stay current with new functionalities in SAP S/4HANA and provide recommendations for enhancements based on business needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 6 years of experience working with SAP FICO including handson experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations and upgrades.
Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP FICO (FI/CO) configuration including GL AP AR Asset Accounting (FIAA) Cost Center Accounting (COCCA) Profitability Analysis (COPA) Internal Orders (COIO) and Product Costing (COPC).
S/4HANA Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA finance capabilities including new S/4HANA innovations like Fiori embedded analytics and S/4HANA financial accounting functionality.
Business Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes with experience in process mapping requirements gathering and solution design in finance functions.
ProblemSolving: Excellent troubleshooting and issue resolution skills within SAP FICO.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Certifications: SAP certifications in SAP FICO (optional but preferred).
Project Management: Experience managing or contributing to SAP FICOrelated projects including planning execution and delivery.
