Job Description
Senior Data Modeller Analyst with baseline clearance Canberra
- At least 5 years of experience in data modelling.
- 3 years in structured analysis and design.
- Familiar with business intelligence solutions and data warehouse development.
- Strong negotiation influencing and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of system development life cycle and data modelling principles for data warehouses.
- Detailoriented with excellent analysis skills.
- Focus on delivering tasks on time and to quality standards.
- Proficient in dimensional data modelling (Kimball methodology) and BI/DW concepts.
- Experienced with data modelling tools (ER Studio Sparx EA Erwin etc.).
- Ability to define and govern data modelling standards best practices and tools.
- Experienced in data analysis profiling mapping and SQL or similar querying languages.
- Proactive and independent in addressing project requirements and risks.
- Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with dimensional and ERD data modelling XML schema design and various database platforms (e.g. Oracle SQL Server).
- Knowledge of data management governance and quality principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of experience in database design and development.
- Australian Citizen with baseline security clearance
- Canberra work location
