Job Description

Sales and Business Development Manager (Education Sector)

Mumbai

We are currently seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Sales and Business Development Manager to drive the sales and growth of our digital learning and assessment solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies. This role requires an understanding of education and skill development ecosystem along with an interest in offering technologyled solutions to Government customers. The incumbent should have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue target and business growth for the digital learning products and assessment solutions.
  • Identify and prioritize Government departments in the assigned territory for the learning and assessment solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Government departments partner with them by understanding their needs and propose bespoke solutions to address customer requirements
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and customer relationship management
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends opportunities and potential ideas for expansion
  • Collaborate with the other internal teams such as product delivery marketing partnership legal finance etc. for strategic and operational requirements
  • Create compelling sales presentations proposals and marketing materials to effectively communicate the value proposition of the products and solutions
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics pipeline activities and market trends for strategic decision making and optimize sales efforts
  • Provide regular updates reports and forecast to senior management on sales progress opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline with 58 years experience
  • Sales and business development experience in education sector (preferred)

Base location: Mumbai (should be ready to travel extensively)
