Job Description

On behalf of one of our clients we are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a position in the Netherlands. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in the field of process engineering particularly in the food and beverage industry.

As a Senior Process Engineer you will be part of a dedicated team working on innovative projects in the food processing sector. Your role will involve:

Designing and optimizing food processing systems

Leading process improvement initiatives

Collaborating with crossfunctional teams

Ensuring projects meet quality safety and efficiency standards

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering Food Technology or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering preferably in the food industry

Strong knowledge of food processing technologies and equipment

Experience with process simulation software and CAD tools

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills

Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus

You have a vocational level 4 diploma in Process Operation Technology (AOT), Mechanical Engineering (WTB), or Vapro C; You have a REWIC certificate or are willing to obtain it; You are initiative-driven, proactive, flexible, stress-resistant, and goal-oriented; You have a critical eye and analytical thinking skills; You can work independently as well as in a team; You have excellent communication skills.
