Job Description
Als Solution Architect zal je:
- Bestaande OpenShift en databaseplatformen zoals Oracle MSSQL PostgreSQL en NoSQL herontwerpen om hun volwassenheidsniveau te verhogen.
- Hoog en laagniveau technische ontwerpen ontwikkelen waarbij alle verplichte vereisten worden opgenomen.
- Fungeren als de schakel tussen de behoeften van stakeholders en de technische implementatie door engineeringteams.
- Toezicht houden op het endtoend leveringsproces van platformen en zorgen voor kwaliteit en tevredenheid van stakeholders.
- Standaardisatie van workloads en operationele processen stimuleren.
- Samenwerken met crossfunctionele teams om de algehele effici ntie en tevredenheid van het team te verhogen.
- Expertise in cloud en containerorkestratieplatformen inzetten om platformverbeteringen te begeleiden.
- Technisch leiderschap bieden bij de adoptie van hardeningstandaarden en best practices.
Wat Breng Jij Mee:
- Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring als Solution Architect of in een vergelijkbare rol.
- Bewezen expertise in het maken en beoordelen van technische ontwerpen op hoog en laag niveau.
- Sterke kennis van containerorkestratieplatformen zoals OpenShift en Kubernetes.
- Vaardigheid in cloud workloads met name binnen Azure (certificering zoals AZ104 is een pluspunt).
- Praktijkervaring met databases waaronder SQL Oracle en PostgreSQL.
- Bekendheid met netwerken webservices en load balancers (bijv. proxies firewalls F5 NGINX IIS).
- Inzicht in hardeningstandaarden zoals CISbenchmarks.
- Een HBOwerk en denkniveau of gelijkwaardige werkervaring met een hoge mate van motivatie.

As a Solution Architect, you will: Redesign existing OpenShift and database platforms, including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL, to enhance their maturity levels. Develop high-level and low-level technical designs while ensuring all mandatory requirements are incorporated. Act as the liaison between stakeholders' needs and the technical implementation by engineering teams. Oversee the end-to-end delivery process of platforms, ensuring quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Drive standardization efforts for workloads and operational processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate overall team efficiency and satisfaction. Utilize expertise in cloud and container orchestration platforms to guide platform improvements. Provide technical leadership in adopting hardening standards and best practices. What You Bring to the Table: A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a related role. Proven expertise in creating and reviewing high-level and detailed technical designs. Strong knowledge of container orchestration platforms like OpenShift and Kubernetes. Proficiency in cloud workloads, particularly within Azure (certification such as AZ-104 is a plus). Hands-on experience with databases, including SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Familiarity with networking concepts, web services, and load balancers (e.g., proxies, firewalls, F5, NGINX, IIS). Understanding of hardening standards like CIS benchmarks. An HBO-level education or equivalent work experience with a high degree of motivation. You Should Possess the Ability to: Navigate and address resistance effectively while driving change initiatives. Standardize workloads and align them with organizational goals. Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
