Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Architect with strong expertise in Python and PySpark to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced skills in data engineering APIs and modern cloudbased architectures particularly with Microsoft Azure. This role involves working within an Agile team to design develop and implement technical solutions across various data and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of developers experienced in Data Engineering APIs/Microservices SQL Python and PySpark.

Work with Azure Databricks Snowflake MongoDB TSQL SSAS SSIS SSRS Power BI and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Contribute to Agile processes actively participating in ceremonies and fostering Agile principles to deliver customerfocused solutions.

Ensure best practices in development standards processes and approaches.

Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team asking clarifying questions as needed for project alignment and success.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Proven expertise in Python and PySpark.

Strong experience in SQL APIs/Microservices and Git version control.

Proficiency with Azure DevOps Azure Databricks and Snowflake.

Knowledge of Power BI SSIS ADF and SSRS.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master s Degree in a related field.

Advanced experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps and REST API design.

Familiarity with Streamsets Cloud Computing EventDriven Processing and Cloud Storage.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in Azure or Python are a plus.

Education: Masters Degree

Requirements: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent 5+ years Salesforce development experience across multiple clouds 5+ years of experience with technical Salesforce implementations & development projects 4 + years in a consulting environment Strong client management & client communication experience 3+ years experience in Financial Services (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management expertise highly desired) 2+ years Financial Service Cloud (FSC) required Strong understanding of relational databases & working with large data sets Application development experience with Apex, JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL or similar Proficiency with APIs -- REST and SOAP-based web services (SOA) Experience in Object Oriented concepts and design, experience with OO languages Proficient in SFDC technologies including configuration and custom development Active in the Salesforce or other technical communities in the form of blogs, stack exchange posts, github and the like. Preferred Skills & Attributes: Experience working with On & Off-Shore teams Leadership/mentorship of more junior developers & other technologists Polyglot with experience in both OO and functional programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript One or more current Salesforce.com certifications Nice to Have experience; nCino, velocity, Omni, MuleSoft
