Position Overview:
The Human Resources Admin is a handson role that requires direct interaction and visibility across all organizational levels departments and shifts. You ll be responsible for managing key HR functions from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance ensuring a positive and compliant work environment for all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Administration:
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment onboarding orientation and offboarding.
- Facilitate onboarding sessions to ensure new hires are informed about policies benefits and the company s work culture.
- Conduct exit processes to ensure a respectful and compliant offboarding experience for departing employees.
Policy Compliance and Regulatory Support:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and federal/state regulations by staying current on HR laws and best practices.
- Conduct regular audits of employee files and records to maintain compliance and data accuracy.
Employee Leave Management:
- Administer employee leave processes (medical parental and other types of leave) ensuring all documentation and tracking comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Communicate leave policies clearly to employees and provide guidance on leaverelated inquiries.
HR Policy Interpretation and Employee Support:
- Act as a primary contact for employee questions related to HR policies procedures and benefits.
- Interpret and explain HR policies in a clear and supportive manner to ensure employees understand and follow guidelines.
HRIS Management and Reporting:
- Utilize Ceridian Dayforce or similar HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records.
- Generate HR reports and provide data insights on areas such as attendance leave balances and other key HR metrics for management review.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience managing leave administration processes and employee HR inquiries.
- Strong attention to detail organizational skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Holds relevant HR certifications (e.g. SHRMCP or PHR) as a plus.
Working Conditions:
The role requires interaction across various shifts within a manufacturing environment with occasional flexibility for offhours support.
