Job Description
Position: Data Engineer & BI Dashboard Developer
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
Location: Latin America 100% Remote
Working Hours: Monday to Friday EST time (flexible hours available)
Salary Range: $3000 $5500 USD per month (dependent on experience and skill set)

About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Data Engineer and BI Dashboard Developer to join our team. This role primarily involves working with Microsoft Power BI for dashboarding Data Factory for ETL and data pipelines and SQL Server/Azure Data Lake for data storage. The ideal candidate will have experience in pulling data from multiple APIs staging data in databases transforming data using Python SQL and DAX and creating impactful dashboards in Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Data Factory.
- Integrate and stage data from various APIs in SQL Server/Azure Data Lake.
- Utilize Python SQL and DAX for data transformation to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Build and refine interactive datadriven dashboards in Power BI to aid business decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define requirements and optimize data solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data engineering ETL processes and BI dashboard development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
- Data Factory for ETL and data pipelines.
- SQL Server/Azure Data Lake for data storage solutions.
- Advanced use of Python SQL and DAX for data manipulation and transformation.
- Microsoft Suite: Strong understanding of Microsoft’s data and intelligence tools.
