Position: LatAm Procurement Specialist
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm EST
Salary Range: $1.500 $2.000 USD monthly

About the Role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the team and help manage the organization’s procurement needs. Procurement Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet our specifications and negotiating with vendors as needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Find new factories and source/procure new and existing product categories. Prepare proposals request quotes and details for new and existing product categories.
- Source and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts (pricing terms etc.) and manage supplier relationships. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Weekly report to the Vice President weekly on status of production/factory/sourcing issues.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals industry and demand trends.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and provide support.
- Maintain accurate records of factory and product details pricing and other important data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations as well as customer requirements.
- Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings (quality control).
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in procurement supply chain management or logistics positions.
- Be collaborative respectful flexible knowledgeable growth oriented and customer service driven.
- Bachelor’s degree in business supply chain management procurement or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing and executing new product categories.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as business application software purchasing and resource planning systems
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
