POSITION PURPOSE
The Production Planner is responsible for the business’s overall manufacturing plan and schedule for various highprofile parts. Responsible for creation progression and realization of production schedule to meet customer deliveries. Aligns sales manufacturing and procurement inputs to achieve desired production outputs.
POSITION DUTIES
• Establish and manage detailed production plan for multiple facilities with machining centers and assembly capabilities
• Determine and maintain stocking levels for raw material and finished components using statistical analysis
• Responsible for integrity of APS inputs within Syteline
• Align outside vendor schedule with internal production schedule
• Convert Sales and Operations Planning outputs to deliverables timeline
• Maintain KPI reporting for all planning measures
• Manage outside process operations from sourcing the Purchase Order through procurement team to ontime delivery of completed operation
• Infor CloudSuite (Syteline) super user
• Identify potential production problems impacting schedule
• Monitor sales forecast and demand changes for production impacts
• Communicate schedule to shop floor and maintain work center dispatches
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing planning role
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment
• Expert knowledge and experience with an ERP software Infor CloudSuite (Syteline) preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skill with ability to query data
• Manage job order documentation as product flows through production
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adapt to abrupt production changes easily
