Sales Development Representative for Veryfi a USbased startup processing financial documents with AI (remote)
Veryfi a leading platform for fast secure and accurate AIpowered data extraction through its OCR API streamlines the realtime processing of financial documents like invoices receipts and checks. Their technology automates data entry enabling businesses across fintech construction and healthcare to enhance efficiency in accounts payable expense management and fraud detection all while ensuring compliance with GDPR and HIPAA standards.
Backed by notable investors including NewView Capital TI Platform and the Willard Family Veryfi secured $12 million in its Series A funding round in 2021.
Currently Veryfi is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive outbound sales efforts as they scale operations. In this pivotal role youll work closely with the team to build awareness of Veryfis AIdriven solutions among key decisionmakers experimenting with outreach strategies and refining the value proposition to generate leads. Youll also contribute to optimizing sales processes and tools helping to fuel business growth. The ideal candidate is adaptable proactive and an excellent communicator eager to collaborate and achieve results in a fastpaced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead generation: Follow up with outbound focus to qualify as sales opportunities.
- Multichannel outreach: Search for potential clients and reach out to them via cold calling (mainly) email and LinkedIn to book the demo meeting with an Account Executive.
- Value proposition development: Improve value proposition and refine messaging that educates prospects on the unique AI technology services.
- A/B testing & personalization: Test different outreach strategies (for example automation vs. personalization) to determine the best approach with a focus on longlasting client relationships.
- CRM management: Maintain accurate and thorough records in HubSpot and ensure thorough weekly reporting on your outreach performance.
- KPI management: strive to book at least 10 meetings per month.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience with B2B SaaS platforms.
- Proven success in an SDR role with a proven track record of booking demo meetings through outbound outreach efforts.
- Experience using a multichannel approach with the ability to experiment with A/B testing and adjust strategies based on performance.
- Expertise in HubSpot CRM LinkedIn Sales Navigator Apollo and other sales tools.
- Familiarity with tracking and reporting on KPIs. Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make datadriven improvements.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment and having the ability to quickly adjust strategies based on what works best for the business.
- A selfstarter who can take initiative work independently and hold themselves accountable to meeting goals without requiring constant oversight.
- Comfortable testing different sales techniques to identify the most effective approaches with new prospects.
- Ability to clearly articulate the value of our innovative solution and tailor messaging to prospects.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies ensuring streamlined outreach efforts and efficient lead management.
Working hours:
This is a remote position with an opportunity to work from 9 am to 5 pm in any US time zone whether its EST CST or PST though PST is preferred (you may check the time difference via the link).
