Maintenance Technician
Location: Oklahoma City Oklahoma
Pay: $18.50/hr
Hours: 6:30 AM 2:30 PM

Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of conveyor belt systems in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will conduct routine inspections perform repairs and implement preventive measures to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime. This role involves working closely with the maintenance team and production staff to uphold safety standards and optimize conveyor performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of conveyor belt systems to identify issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic problems.
- Repair replace and adjust conveyor components such as rollers pulleys belts motors and bearings.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules including lubrication bolt tightening belt alignment and component replacement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including inspection reports repair logs and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members production personnel and equipment suppliers to resolve issues.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational downtime.
- Provide training and support on conveyor operation maintenance and safety to operators and maintenance staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement efficiency enhancements and cost savings.
Skills Required:
- Experience in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyor systems.
- Strong mechanical electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform repairs and adjustments to various conveyor components.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in an industrial setting.
- Strong organizational skills for recordkeeping and inventory management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
- Problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to emergency repairs and preventive maintenance.
